Tuesday 14th April: Visit to the
Sainsbury Centre and Lunch at the Modern
Life Café
In your own time spend the
morning exploring the Sainsbury Centre,
University of East Anglia, NR4 7TJ; a world
class art museum with outdoor Sculpture Park.
Get a Universal Ticket at Gallery Reception
(choose what you wish to pay: max
£20pp). This gives access to the
permanent collection, galleries, Sculpture
Park and two included exhibitions. Free guided
tours (up to 12 people) are available: Living
Area at 11am and 2pm; Exhibitions at 11.30am
and 2.30pm. Book at the front desk on
arrival. At 1pm gather together for
lunch at the Modern Life Café. See their

Menu January 2026 Book for lunch by
April 2nd. No need to choose from the menu at
this time.
Wednesday 6th May: Walk in
Sheringham Park and Afternoon Tea at the
Dales Hotel.
Drive to Sheringham Park and,
in your own time, enjoy the colourful display
of Azaleas and Rhododendrons. For a
shorter walk, use the carpark at the entrance
off the A148 and stroll from there, then drive
on to the Dales Hotel for Afternoon Tea at
3.30pm, cost £19.95: . Those who would
like a longer walk, park at The Dales Hotel,
Lodge Hill, Upper Sheringham, NR26 8TJ and
walk into the Park from there (left out of the
Hotel and 1st Left); return to the Hotel for
3.30pm. Book by Monday 27th April with
£5pp deposit by cash or bank transfer to
Womack Herons.
Thursday 21st May: Rail Trip (or
Drive) to Cromer and Lunch at ‘Upstairs at
No1 Fish and Chips’
Take the train, or drive, and
spend the morning enjoying the varied delights
of Cromer! Meet at ‘Upstairs at No.1 Fish
& Chips’, New Street, NR27 9HP, for lunch
at 12.30pm. Trains run once an hour from
Hoveton & Wroxham; Cromer station is about
15 mins walk from the restaurant. Book
by Weds 13th May with Menu Choice. Click

Monday 1st June: Visit to Yarmouth Model Village
followed by lunch
Wednesday 17th June: Summer BBQ at Beech Lodge
Tuesday 7th July: Visit to Norwich Castle then
lunch at Bill’s
Friday 24th July: Ploughman’s lunch at The
Grange, Ludham
Saturday 15th August: Cream Tea Event in Horning
Friday 4th September: Lunch at the White Horse,
Upton.
Thursday 24th September: How Hill Picnic

and Lunch at the King’s Head Coltishall.
Tuesday 20th October: AGM followed by Bring your
own Supper and the Stan Coles Trophy Quiz.
